Firm to the touch with an even, creamy white colour, our parsnips have a sweet,
nutty flavour when cooked, although can also be enjoyed raw.
Parsnips are really versatile and can be steamed, boiled, roasted or mashed to
accompany many of your favourite dishes such as a Sunday roast, cottage pie or,
as part of a medley of roasted root vegetables. For an extra hit of flavour,
cook then mash or crush thoroughly and stir through a teaspoon of olive oil.
Finish with a dusting of cracked black pepper for a lightly seasoned mash.
