"I make my own hot sauce these days, so don’t often have reach for the bottled
varieties, but I chanced upon this new – to me, at least – super-smoky version
of Tabasco recently and quite simply cannot stop with it! Its tanginess reminds
me slightly of brown sauce, but it also delivers a smouldering heat that can
become addictive. You could use this in place of the Lea & Perrins for my Cosy
Supper Stir-Fry or just shake it over at regular intervals as you eat! Fabulous
in a Bloody Mary, it’s also great for marinades and, indeed, anything that needs
invigorating. And I know this sounds mad, but try a dash or two over fresh
pineapple: the combination of hot, sweet and sour is positively exhilarating!"
