Less well known than its famous relatives, this ancient white variety, Pinot
Blanc or Weissburgunder, nevertheless produces stunning wines. It is a rare, but
versatile grape, even in its native home in Germany, matching with many foods.
Winemaker Gerd Stepp, who produces this example exclusively for M&S, recommends
drinking it with pan seared river trout and white asparagus. Best enjoyed
chilled within 2 years of purchase.
