M&S Found Marzemino
Native to north east Italy, Marzemino grapes, made famous by Mozart’s opera Don
Giovanni, are darkly coloured but produce smooth, fresh and fruity wines, which
match perfectly with Italian cuisine. A late ripening variety and prone to
disease, it must be tended with care. Winemaker Giacomo Vedovato of Domus Vini
selects only the best fruit to produce this example.
He recommends pairing with Canederli, dumplings in a beef broth. Best enjoyed
within 3 years of purchase.
