Red Wine of Bordeaux, France Crafted from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, sustainably* grown in the clay-limestone soils of the historic Château Coustaut La Grangeotte in Médoc, this wine is a beautiful crimson Bordeaux red with a rich, complex fruity bouquet boasting aromas of strawberry, raspberry and blackberry. It is a harmonious wine with smooth tannins and fruity, long-lasting flavours and is an excellent companion for a wide variety of meat dishes and cheeses. This wine can be drunk now but will further improve if carefully stored for up to 3 years. *Château Coustaut La Grangeotte has implemented sustainable agriculture methods since 2000, in partnership with Yvon Mau.
