The Domain Boissezon - Guiraud, situated in the north of Béziers, next to the
foothills of the Massif Central, is a family-owned property handed down from
father to son for five generations. Mixing tradition and modernity, the current
owners, Michel and Pompilia Guiraud, have developed a reasoned way of
winegrowing. The vineyard is the witness of the region’s diversity, stretching
over two villages from the Saint Chinian appellation and thus offering two
distinct terroirs. On the one hand, the schists at Roquebrun: terroir operated
by the Guiraud family since the 18 century. And on the other hand, a clay and
limestone soil at Causses and Veyran: terroir farmed by the Boissezon family
(maternal family of Michel Guiraud).
