What is Falafel? Falafel is one of the most popular vegan foods in the Middle East. Made with ground chickpeas, herbs and spices, they are delicious, little crispy balls that can be enjoyed as part of a main meal or a snack. And nothing beats eating them fresh from the oven. This delicious Al'Fez Falafel recipe was created by our founder, Sam Jacobi, inspired by the flavours he remembers from his Uncle's falafel bar. There are so many exciting flavours and dishes to discover from across the Middle East. Why not release your adventurous side by creating a delicious, warm falafel wrap. Simply stir water through your falafel mix, and mould into 12 golf ball sized balls. Either bake in the oven or fry in hot oil until golden brown.
