The Story of Kefir
Legend has it that Kefir originated over 2,000 years ago in the Caucasus Mountains, a stunning region situated between the Black and the Caspian Seas, where the locals kept it a closely guarded secret for centuries. Luckily for us, word slowly spread about the benefits of Kefir (give it a Google) and it became increasingly popular across Russia and throughout Europe.
Today we give you our very own organic Kefir, made here in our Valley with a unique blend of live culture strains: Lactococcus lactis subspecies cremoris, Lactobacillus paracasei, Leuconostoc pseudomesentzzzzzzzzzzzz...........
