Bumboo offers a tree-free, plastic-free alternative to traditional luxury toilet tissue, without compromising quality or comfort. Made from luxuriously soft 3 ply, 100% bamboo tissue, bumboo toilet rolls are strong and extra long, with 300 sheets / 30 metres per roll. A slightly smaller sheet size enables better usage control to minimise waste. Bumboo toilet rolls are bulk packed and compactly rolled to further minimise transport related carbon emissions, with individual wrappers for hygienic storage and protection from dust and other particles. As the fastest growing plant on the planet, bamboo offers a rapidly renewable alternative to trees for tissue production. After an initial maturation period of 3-5 years, bamboo delivers a yearly harvest for up to 70 years. It’s also a plant that needs no pesticides or fertilisers to grow, so its cultivation is good for the environment too. (And it’s not the same species that pandas eat – so it’s panda-friendly too!) Not only is bumboo tissue tree free, but a tree is planted for every box purchased, through our ‘Buy One Plant One’ initiative, in partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects. This program has enabled us to plant over 24,000 trees to date, in projects around the world. Bumboo toilet tissue is kind to skin, containing no unnecessary additives such as chemical scents, dyes, de-inking agents or BPA, and bamboo is a naturally hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial tissue fibre, making it a great choice for those with sensitive skin.
