A brightly coloured shrub in the vineyard's diverse native terrain is the Leonotis leonurus, also known as 'Lion's Ear. Known for its range of medicinal properties, they are also a rich source of nectar for our local pollinator populations of bees and bird life.
Inspired in name, our Chardonnay is loaded with delicious citrus and stone fruit characters, followed by a fine richness from delicate oak aging, all balanced with perfect minerality. Grown in the Coastal Region of the beautiful Western Cape, the vines are subject to glorious cooling winds that roll in from the Atlantic Ocean. Together with excellent soil, high slopes, and 700mm of annual rainfall, it is a unique and natural expression.
