"These are a regular fixture on my weekly Ocado, and we get through an
unbelievable amount of them at home. I certainly need them for making My
Favourite Potato Salad (the recipe for which you can find on the Ocado website)
but I need them, too, for what have become known as the House Potatoes, when
they’re just steamed then tossed in a golden pool of Mellow Yellow Oil (also on
my aisle) along with a generous amount of freshly ground pepper and Maldon salt,
to be eaten at a warmish-room temperature. Sometimes I halve them lengthwise
before steaming, sometimes after, or I just crush them lightly as I add them to
the serving bowl. And obviously they are a joy, too, with melted butter instead.
But however you decide to dress them, the key is to steam them, not boil them."
