Founded in Rioja Alta in 1877, by Miguel Berberana and one of the most famous houses in Spain. Our founders aim remains true for all our wines today: "To consistently deliver the finest quality wines at an affordable price". The Berberana philosophy is to offer consumers a variety of quality Spanish wines that represent real value for money, this is at the heart of everything we do. We have no desire to be the lowest cost producer in the market, we strive to be the best value - in every sense. Berberana is now no longer just Rioja, Berberana is Spain. Expanding from our home in Rioja Alta, we started producing wines from Vino de la Tierra de Castilla and D.O. Catalunya. In late 2013 we merged brands with one of the largest Cava producers in Spain, moving all wines from the Marques de Monistrol brand name to Monistrol by Berberana.
