A Gewurztraminer? From Spain?!
Yes, that was our reaction too. But hey, who needs another Spanish Tempranillo
anyway? It turned out that planting Gewurztraminer high up in the foothills of
the Pyrenees was a pretty good idea. Our vineyards enjoy warm days but chilly
nights, which help this grape variety ripen perfectly. The result is a
beautifully fresh and floral wine that has become the bestselling Gewurztraminer
in Spain!
