CHORIZO RIOJANO PGI (Protected Geographic Indication)
Traditional Spanish chorizo made with selected pork meats, paprika from La Vera,
garlic from Las Pedroñeras and salt from Añana.
A great addition to a cheese board. You can also cook the Chorizo to give a
special flavour to your favourite recipes: stews, pasta, omelettes, fried eggs
and paella.
Production started In 1900 in a small village in La Rioja, Baños de Rio Tobía.
In 1921, D. José Martínez, registered the brand, La Gloria Riojana. Now a third
generation of the family continues with the legacy of his father and
grandfather, built a new production centre, to meet the quality standards for
exporting our products to the main European markets. and nowadays, we can say
that this is the oldest registered brand still in use in the charcuterie
sector.
In 2021, we celebrated the first centenary of our brand, LA GLORIA RIOJANA. We
are proudly certified with BRC and IFS, International Quality Certifications.
