"I’ve been searching for a really good white wine for some time and now, at
last, I’ve found it! I have to say that I’m rather surprised to find myself
plumping for this, as I don’t consider myself a Chardonnay drinker really, but I
adore this: it’s got real depth, and a rich smokiness that makes me rather think
of it as a white wine for red wine drinkers, but I did wow a Chardonnay fan who
came for dinner last week with it, and so I conclude it’s a hit on all fronts.
It’s a bit too special to be adding ice and soda water to, but all the same I
