My home baked granola was always a favourite with guests at my Oxfordshire B&B
in the 1990's but it took several years as an organic farmer in Wales for me to
realise the importance of real food which inspired me to develop my range of
granolas. Now I look around the world for natural ingredients with exciting
flavours for your breakfast table.
I first tasted fresh mango many years ago in West Africa and I've always wanted
to recapture that wonderful fruity flavour. This granola is baked in a rich
mango purée with added mango pieces and macadamia nuts to bring you a taste of
the tropics. Macadamia nuts are truly delicious and contain the highest quantity
of beneficial mono-unsaturated fat of any nut. Serve with yoghurt or milk and
add your own fresh fruit for a sustaining high fibre breakfast. Or sprinkle on
your evening fruit dessert or icecream as a crunchy topping.
