Spelt Flakes are a new experience:
Toasty and malty. Crispy and satisfying. Each flake is one grain of spelt,
simply steamed, rolled and lightly toasted.
The spelt story (it's very old).
Spelt is an ancient wheat grain, cultivated since the Bronze Age and grown in
Britain since Roman times. Perhaps its ancient origins is what gives this hardy
grain its bold flavour. Whatever the reason, we are glad to have this old-timer
on our breakfast table. Long live spelt.
