Miso Tasty's Sweetcorn Miso Soup hails from Hokkaido, Northern Japan. This soup
celebrates some key flavours from the island - bringing together the warming
chilli peppers from Japanese seven spice with spring onions and crunchy sweet
corn.
Our signature miso paste is made from a secret blend of rice miso, spring water
and homemade dashi, the quintessential Japanese stock that multiplies umami
flavour.
What makes dashi so special?
Our dashi is made the authentic way, we steep aged shitake mushrooms and kombu
(Japanese kelp) in distilled water for 24 hours to create an umami rich base.
The dashi draws out the deep, natural flavours of our miso. Mmm... Miso Tasty!
