Parmigiano Reggiano is an Italian hard cheese made with cows' milk. It offers a
perfect harmony of aromas and flavours. Its straw yellow to golden yellow colour
and fine-grained consistency are characteristic of the authentic Italian
parmesan.
After 24 months of careful maturation in the family's own cellars, the
Parmigiano Reggiano by Giovanni Ferrari unfolds its special full-bodied and
strong nutty taste. The natural ripening process takes place without the
addition of preservatives and additives.
Parmigiano Reggiano is made in 5 Italian provinces: Bologna, Mantova, Modena,
Parma, Reggio Emilia.
Parmigiano Reggiano is suitable for refining traditional pasta dishes, soups or
vegetables. It can also complement a porcini risotto when sprinkled on top and
is a perfect fit with medium body wines.
