This Chestnut honey is not very sweet and has strong acidic and astringent notes
that make it very special. What's special? It is slightly tannic. This fine
honey has an amber to very dark colour that is intense in taste and smell; it is
characterised by aromatic, pungent, vegetal and vaguely herbaceous notes. The
meeting of these sharply contrasting flavours makes your dishes divine.
The production area for this honey are the regions of Piedmont, Lombardy and
Calabria.
