Slightly green, slightly grassy, extremely refreshing China tea. Too often
overlooked, Oolong is one of our absolute favourites because it has the richness
and power of a black tea, combined with the aromatic herbiness and cleansing
feel of a green tea. The tea leaves are plucked, allowed to semi-oxidise, rolled
into small beads and then roasted. Describing the flavour of this delectable
brew we find ourselves falling into the language of fine wine or Scotch whisky;
there are floral, nutty and buttery notes, accompanied by honey, grass, fresh
herbs and toasted wood. Steep for at least three minutes and enjoy on its own ¿
milk and sugar are up to you ¿ or alongside herby or smoky dishes, wok-fried
greens or even chocolate.
