Situated on the right bank of the Gironde, just north of the city of Bordeaux,
Château Bois Pertuis benefits from an exceptional terroir of well-drained
gravel, sand and clay. The winemaker Vincent Cachau uses all of his skill during
the vinification process to produce a wine which reflects the heritage of
Bordeaux, but which is thoroughly modern in style. Yields in the vineyard are
limited to enhance fruit concentration and the wine is matured in oak barrels to
add suppleness to the palate texture. The wine has a deep garnet colour, aromas
of ripe berry fruits and vanilla, a smooth palate texture and long finish.
