Pecorino Romano DOP cheese made with unpasteurised sheep milk
Medium fat hard cheese made with unpasteurised ewes milk. A very traditional
Italian cheese from the South of Italy. It is made exclusively from Ewes milk
and has a distinctive fresh, salty, piquant flavour with buttery notes and a
firm, slightly crumbly texture.
Serving Suggestion
This very flavoursome cheese is typically used in Risottos and pasta dishes to
give a full, cheese flavour.
Matured for a minimum of 5 months to develop flavour.
