Baked & delivered fresh from the oven, the GAIL’s Honey, Walnut & Almond Sourdough is studded toasted walnuts and almonds. The honey provides a subtle caramelised backdrop to the nuttiness of this loaf, which has a soft, tacky crumb and chewy golden crust. HOW TO ENJOY We like to lean into the toasty nuttiness of GAIL’s Honey, Walnut & Almond Sourdough, spreading thick, toasted slices with lashings of crunchy almond butter, and drizzling with honey. This loaf also pairs well with bold and sharp cheeses – a stilton or Roquefort. STORAGE Baked fresh and never with any preservatives, we recommend storing GAIL’s Honey, Walnut & Almond Sourdough in a cool, dry place. To keep the bread for longer, slice immediately and store in an airtight container in the freezer, taking out slices and toasting, as desired. Towards the end of its life, we recommend slicing the loaf extra thinly and toasting the slices in the oven on a low heat to turn them into crackers to serve with a cheeseboard.
