Baked & delivered fresh from the oven, the GAIL’s Potato & Rosemary Sourdough is
made with hand-picked rosemary, nigella seeds, extra virgin olive oil and
potatoes that are roasted skin-on in the same oven as we bake our bread. This is
a cake-like loaf with a soft, chewy crumb. The potato enriches the crumb with
moistness, adding further complexity to the texture. Once out of the oven, the
loaf is brushed with oil, giving it its distinctive soft crust.
HOW TO ENJOY
Imbued with umami herbs and seeds, the GAIL’s Potato & Rosemary Sourdough can be
topped with torn mozzarella and roast vegetables, or simply served alongside
soup.
STORAGE
Baked fresh and never with any preservatives, we recommend storing GAIL’s
sourdough in a cool, dry place. To keep the bread for longer, slice immediately
and store in an airtight container in the freezer, taking out slices and
toasting, as desired.
Towards the end of its life, we recommend transforming the loaf into croutons,
stuffing or even a croque monsieur.
