Baked & delivered fresh from the oven, the GAIL’s Dark Sourdough is our
signature loaf. It contains a blend of wholemeal flours, making it both
nutritionally rich and deep in flavour. The tacky crumb contrasts neatly with
the thick, dark and chewy crust.
HOW TO ENJOY
The GAIL’s Dark Sourdough is a complex-flavoured loaf which pairs well with
cream cheese, smoked salmon & dill, or with a mature cheddar and marmalade.
STORAGE
Baked fresh and never with any preservatives, we recommend storing GAIL’s
sourdough in a cool, dry place. To keep the bread for longer, slice immediately
and store in an airtight container in the freezer, taking out slices and
toasting, as desired.
Towards the end of its life, we recommend transforming the loaf into croutons,
bruschetta or even stuffing.
