Natoora Italian Sun-Dried San Marzano Tomatoes
- Grown and dried by Carlo in Campania, using a traditional seed of San Marzano
has been handed down in Carlo's family for generations.
- His crop is harvested throughout the peak growing season, when they are
perfectly mature, hanging heavy on the plant with minimum water content and deep
red colour.
- The tomatoes are dried in a tunnel for around a week, before being salted and
finished in a specialised drying oven.
- A very typical growing and preserving method of southern Italy - you¿ll find
growers doing throughout Campania, Basilicata and Calabria.
