FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER Natoora French Globe Artichoke - Globe Artichokes with tightly closed heads and tender, meaty bracts. - We start the season with two minimum intervention growers in Perpignan; Christophe and Roger - As temperatures climb, we move to northern France, where a cooler climate extends the season into September. - Coastal regions with stable climates are ideal for artichokes, encouraging the plants to develop steadily while sea breezes bring moisture to the soil. Take it further - Prep the artichokes and slow roast them with olive oil, lemon and garlic. - Boil them whole and prepare a flavoured butter to dip their leaves into.
