- We source Swiss Chard directly from Mantas, a small-scale grower in Norfolk.
- Mantas grows outdoors and picks the meaty leaves to order, sending them to us
the same day for unrivalled freshness.
- By December, when temperatures drop in the UK, we move to the milder climate
of Italy.
- Always cultivated on farms with minimal intervention, and allowed to grow
slowly so that it develops crisp white stalks and very dark green leaves.
Take it further
- Sauté with butter and finely sliced garlic.
- Wilt into stews and curries just before serving.
