FLAVOUR IS A FRONTIER Natoora French Sweet Mirabelle Plums  - We source our Mirabelle Plums direct from a grower in Lorraine, a region of France famous for its cultivation of this variety of stone fruit.  - His clay-limestone soil and the daily shifts in temperature - up to 25 degrees during the day and dramatically cooler nights - produce a high sugar concentration in compact fruit.  - He grows three varieties at different altitudes, starting at the top in full sunshine for the early ripening varieties and then moving down the slope.  - Allowed to ripen fully on the tree, these plums have golden skin that can take on a red blush due to fluctuations in temperature between day and night.  Take it further - Baked into a tart with thyme. - Halved and roasted, served on sourdough with ricotta. Our packaging is plastic-free - We have developed our own revolutionary packaging which is entirely plastic-free and home disposable. Each of our recyclable cardboard punnets is flow-wrapped with home-compostable film which, unlike traditional plastic flow-wrap, disintegrates within 180 days.
