little rib, which grow quickly but require intensive chemical intervention to
stave off winter diseases.
- Duncan grows Wheelers Imperial, a heritage variety which benefits from
pronounced, tender ribs, providing definition while also acting as a natural
defense barrier against fungal disease during their long, cold month growing
season.
- These growing choices produce a greater complexity of flavour and a meatier
